Whatever brought you here—anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that makes everything feel heavier, relationship challenges, life transitions, or something you’ve been carrying for a long time. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Kari Reed, LMHC, QS

“I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment, where you can feel heard and understood as you work toward creating a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.

About Me

I’m Kari, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with more than nine years of experience working with adults and adolescents across inpatient and outpatient settings, including IOP and PHP levels of care. I am trained in DBT, ACT, and EMDR and use these approaches based on your individual needs, experiences, and goals.

As a Star Behavioral Health Provider, Tier 3, I also have specialized training in working with service members, veterans, and their families. Having experienced military life as a young adult and as a military spouse, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to my work with military-connected individuals.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a one-size-fits-all process. I work collaboratively with you to understand where you are, where you want to go, and what may help you get there.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from DBT, ACT, and EMDR while tailoring therapy to the person sitting in front of me, and not simply the diagnosis or problem they are experiencing.

My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to make meaningful changes. You’ve already taken a brave step by being here. You don’t have to take the next one alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

This is a space without judgement. A place to be honest, to feel heard, and to slowly find your way back to yourself.
